Comfort Station London
News

July 2010

We’ve had a rather busy time at Comfort Station over the past few months.
Various owls have flown in and out of our doors,
we’ve launched Spring Summer in store and online,
painted ourselves a new colour,
suffered some broken bones,
and also most recently a flood (on the hottest day of the year).

Yes its been rather busy. And as of this week, we’ve also had
some lovely new taxidermy in the shop in the shape of Heathcliff
(below) our beautiful new crow, and this pair of swallows which
were commissioned for a customer but are too majestic not to show.
I have a feeling we’ll be getting in more...

Fresh out of the kiln and onto the shelves of the shop is the new batch of Comfort Station's exclusive bone-china just in time for Christmas. Only available instore we have a limited number of mugs, cups, & saucers, and plates all lovingly designed by hand ensuring all pieces are either very limited in number or completely unique.

On December 11th we will have our last late-night shopping event of the season- pop by the shop from 6-10pm for a free glass of mulled wine, a mince pie and visit all of the other shops on Cheshire Street taking part...

November 2009

Alongside the new Autumn Winter 09/10 collection arriving instore we have also some beautiful new taxidermy. The taxidermist we work with only uses animals that have died naturally or as a result of road traffic accidents and our latest is this beautiful ensemble- “Maurice & Spike” - a framed bullfinch and great spotted woodpecker in conversation at £395. We also have “Billy Bob” our latest barn owl flying in the window who comes with an A10 certificate since he is a protected species.
